Our Story

LPM Automotive LLC, owned by Lewie and Sarah Metz, opened on November 10, 2014 – and they’ve been busy and productive ever since.  It is a story of the love of home, family, the mountains, animals, wildlife…and always, cars.

Lewie had wanted to open his own automotive business since high school.  Growing up in Estes Park, he had the mentorship of his father, Ron Metz, who owned an alternator shop and grew his passion for auto body and paint from his previous jobs and working for Neil Casey at Casey’s Automotive.  He graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College in 2003 and returned to the mountains to work for 10 years at auto body shops in Longmont and Estes Park.

When he met Sarah he knew his dream would become a reality.  Sarah Fenton Metz was on an internship from the University of South Florida when the two met in Estes Park.  They married after she graduated and established herself as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the Northern Colorado market.

Sarah said it just made sense to own their own business. Lewie had the skills, they loved the mountains, they were both dedicated hard workers and Sarah could still keep her profession while growing the business. Together they knew they could build an auto specialist business with down to earth ethics, quality service, and darn fine workmanship.

Indeed, they have.  Clients come from all over Northern Colorado and the word is out that Lewie and Sarah will take good care of you.
